Oops!

Tonight, my husband decided to resume a small project in our second bathroom. This bathroom has been under construction for over a year now. The bathroom keeps getting the shaft when other more pressing projects come to the forefront, like the money pit of a rental house we are still burdened with, anyway tonight's project was going to be simple. Moving an outlet. We have a new mirror to go over the sink, and we currently have an ill placed outlet that will be covered by our new mirror. My husband wanted to move the outlet to the side wall by the sink, but the size of our bathroom and the angle of the wall is a precarious one. He was using this gigantic drill bit, and he wanted me to drill while he was at the other end guiding the bit through the wall. Unfortunately, as we paused to inspect our work, our six year old wanders into the back bathroom. "Hey, I just thought you should know that there is a hole in our kitchen wall." We looked at each other, and I said, "Are you joking?" My eldest said, "Nope." My husband was first on the scene, "Yep, there's a hole." So now we have another house project to complete. Patch and repair the kitchen wall. That should get finished shortly after our bathroom, which at this point seems like a week from never.
